5 Of The Most Delicious (& Limited Time) Trader Joe’s Fall Items This Year (2020) — Jamie Pittman
It’s fall y’all! And for me, one of my favorite parts is about this season is Trader Joe’s fall items. It’s mainly food offerings, but I do have one non-food item on this list.
These are in no particular order, but they are only available for a limited time. I will also say unless you like the taste of apples and pumpkins, then this list may not be for you. It’s all about those fall scents, smells, and tastes.
Enjoy and hurry to your local Trader Joe’s before the season is over! These items will be gone before you know it!
Trader Joe’s Fall Item #1: Pumpkin Brioche Twist
In our store, they keep the Pumpkin Brioche Twist right at the front of the store near the flowers to tempt you immediately as you walk in the store. The only downside to brioche is that as sweet bread, it’s perhaps not as versatile? I’m not a great cook, so here are some recipes to inspire what you can do with this delicious, sweet bread.
My first thoughts? French toast. French toast casserole. Bread pudding.
All sweet, delicious treats to bring joy to your fall!
Trader Joe’s Fall Item #2: Maple & Sea Salt Kettle Corn
When my brother, Kim, and I went to Trader Joe’s a few weeks ago, we saw this gem on the shelf connected to the register. You know the one meant to tempt you at the last minute? We picked up the bag, debating on whether or not we should get it, and I asked the nearest cashier if they’d tried it. His response? “It’s like crack.”
Flash-forward to last week when my brother searched high and low for this addictive treat, only to leave the store empty-handed as a shipment would not be available until the following morning.
So, yeah. I’d say it’s pretty good!
Trader Joe’s Fall Item #3: Foaming Apple Cider Hand Soap
I first found out about this addictive item when visiting my friend Marcela in California a few years ago. I washed my hands and the enchanting scent of apple cider never left my being. I was hooked! By the time I arrived home in North Carolina, I could not find that stuff anywhere!
Last year I didn’t get enough. This year, I have made sure to buy a few bottles every time we go to Trader Joe’s, but this past trip they were sold out.
The moral of the story: stock up!
Trader Joe’s Fall Item #4: Fall Harvest Salsa
A few years ago, after I first discovered this salsa, I wish you could have been with me to see the look on my face when I was told that it was a seasonal item. I was naive about this concept at the time. It was a learning moment.
I eat this salsa in about two sittings. I like it best paired with tortilla chips, specifically Trader Joe’s Sweet Potato Tortilla chips-which by the way, I think they are available year-round. This salsa also tastes great on eggs, but that is the extent of things I’ve tried it on.
The ingredients in the salsa are a unique combo (pumpkins, apples, and butternut squash), but for me, it’s the perfect combination. It has a nice little kick, making it just the right amount of spicy.
If you have not tried this yet, you must!
Trader Joe’s Fall Item #5: Apple Cider Donuts
It’s too bad Trader Joe’s doesn’t do scented candles because this flavor would probably be a best seller. The smell and taste of these delicious donuts are 100% fall.
My brother, Kim, and I split a box because they’re dangerous. I nibbled on one all day. To me, donuts are hard to have for an actual breakfast, but they made a great snack and would probably be a great dessert.
I think these are definitely a hot commodity, as all Trader Joe’s fall items are because I have only seen them once since we bought them. They were placed at the front of the store where the Pumpkin Brioche Twist now resides.
Trader Joe’s fall items are here…
And don’t miss out! Stock up on what you can, while you can.
